Who can take the certification class?
Our class is open to the public. Anyone interested in learning threading can take our class.

How long is the certification class?
There are three options: BrowPro (5 hour Beginner to Intermediate class), BrowMaster (3 hour Intermediate to Advance) or our Accelerated class (8 hour Beginner, Intermediate and Advance).  

Will I be certified?
You will receive a certificate of completion. It is up to you to contact your state cosmetology board to determine if Threading is regulated in your area.

Will I really be able to thread after taking your class?

Yes! You will be threading during the class! Additional at home practice will be needed to increase your speed and accuracy. However, we guarantee you will be able to thread after completing our class. *If you are unable to do so you can come back to a refresher course for free!* As far as we know we are the only Threading education company that offers a refresher course.

I took another company's class, but I still need help. Can I take yours?

Yes. Many students have come to us after taking another class through someone else. You can either take our beginner to intermediate class or if you need help with shaping you can take our advance class.  We will discuss your level over the phone to determine which class is the best route for you. The great thing about our program is once you have taken one of our classes you can continue to come back for training for free.*

How do I find customers who want eyebrow threading?
This is what our marketing team does best! One of the best ways for you to find customers who are looking for your service is by being Iconistry Beauty member and being listed on our website. We constantly receive customer requests for Iconistry Beauty Certified Threaders.

How much can I charge for this service?
Depending on your location Certified Professional Threaders can charge between $15 -$45 to thread eyebrows. How to decide what you should charge is discussed during the certification course.

Can I just use regular sewing thread instead of threading thread?
Yes and No. Yes you may be able to remove hair using regular sewing thead. Yet, it will not give you the clean finish due to its unfinished texture and has been known to damage the skin. Iconistry Beauty thread recommends our antibacterial coated thread to ensure proper sanitation.

There are some people who may charge a very small amount for this service. But beware, not all threaders have received professional training and therefore they may not be practicing the most sanitary methods. Iconistry Beauty Threaders continuously receive updates on methods to ensure client comfortability and safe and sanitary practices. The cost to have your brows threaded by a certified professional can range from $15 - $30.


*The refresher course is a 2 hour course that will cover the steps taught in your original class and requires a small administration fee of $29. Our garauntee is that you will be able to thread during and after the class, if this garnauntee is not met you are welcome to come to a refresher course. Refunds are not offered.

Threading is a hair removal technique that is the most precise way to remove unwanted facial hair. Threading is not only used on the eyebrows but also on the upper lip, chin, side burns or any area of the face. This technique allows you to take a line of hair out at a time and therefore creates a more defined shape for eyebrows. Many cosmetologists, makeup artists and estheticians are choosing this method of hair removal for their clients because it can be less painful, more precise and may last longer than waxing.

A ProSignature certified threader uses cotton thread that is specifically meant for eyebrow and facial threading and has antibacterial coating. The thread is looped in a way that allows the threader to capture hairs and pull hairs out from the root

Our experience has shown that 85% of customers will experience no redness or swelling. If redness or swelling does occur, it is generally gone within 30 mins.

The length of time it takes is different depending on the professional threader. However, it can take anywhere from 5 -20 minutes.
